Bill Crouse Woonsocket Rotary

Scholarship Award

The Bill Crouse Woonsocket Rotary Scholarship Award is presented to a student who is struggling academically but has a positive attitude towards education and plans to further their education upon graduation from High School. Alternatively, it may be a student that has done their best although attaining a grade less than honors who plans to continue their education.

Each award consists of a certificate from the Rotary Club of Woonsocket and up to a $1,000 scholarship. The continuing education institution is not limited to a four-year college but can encompass a Community College, trade school, evening program, apprenticeship, etc as long as there is continuing education.

Our cash awards are available due to our successful fundraising activities during the past year and are set annually, based on availability of funds.

Scholarship recipients are selected by the school Guidance Department staff.

Each year, the Rotary Club of Woonsocket funds $5,000 in Scholarships for graduates from local schools including Woonsocket High School, North Smithfield High School, Mount St. Charles, Woonsocket Career & Technical Center and Burrillville High School.
